Adventures in Chemistry & Physics (ACAP) is an award-winning educational outreach program co-sponsored by the Rochester Technician Affiliate Group of the American Chemical Society, the Rochester Section of the ACS, and Eastman Kodak Company. The goal of the program is to encourage students to be curious about science, to entertain new ideas, and to try experimenting. The program can be adapted to appeal to any age group, and presentations can be designed to cover specific topics in chemistry and physics. In addition, several workshops are conducted each year to help educators with presenting scientific concepts in novel ways.
