Candidate biographies and statements may be reviewed here. Write-in candidates are permitted.
Voting is open between November 3 and November 21, 2008. No ballots may be cast outside these dates.
Only members of the American Chemical Society residing in the Rochester Local Section, or who have designated the Rochester Section as their "home" section with the National ACS, are eligible to vote.
Per ACS Bylaws, non-member Affiliates of the ACS, including Student Affiliates and Teacher Affiliates, are not eligible to participate in the election.
To verify your eligibility to vote in the Rochester election, you will need to provide your LAST NAME and ACS MEMBER NUMBER when logging in to the balloting website.
Your member number may be found on your ACS membership card or on your C&E News mailing label.
Please OMIT any leading zeroes or trailing letters in your membership number. The balloting website is expecting a 5- to 8-digit number to validate your status as an eligible voter.
If you experience any difficulties or have a question about your eligibility to vote, please send a note to info@rochesteracs.org.
